Oreo Fudge

Posted By: Unknown - 8:15 PM

Yield: 16 to 32 squares depending on size
Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 oz) bag high quality white chocolate chips (I HIGHLY recommend Guittard - there are no waxes in it.)
  • 3 cups oreos, roughly chopped (approximately 20 oreos)
  • Optional: ⅛ tsp salt

Instructions
  1. Prepare an 8x8-inch pan with wax or parchment paper that comes up the sides of the pan (so you can pull out the whole slab of fudge once it sets.)
  2. Melt the white chocolate chips with the sweetened condensed milk (and salt - optional) in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
  3. Stir in the crushed Oreo cookies, saving a few pieces to press in the top.
  4. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Quickly spread fudge evenly with a spatula. Press extra crushed Oreo cookies on top. Refrigerate or let rest at room temperature until set.
  5. Pull the fudge slab out of the pan using the edges of the paper. Using a warm, dry knife, cut squares. Store in an airtight container for 5 to 7 days.
Notes
*Some have had problems with this fudge setting up. Consider adding an additional 6oz (1/2 bag) white chocolate chips to the melted mixture to help it set up.
